What forms your worldview? What set of principles, established pattern, or dominant philosophy guides your life? There are competing worldviews vying for our allegiance. Colossians 2:8 spells out two of them. "See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ" (NASB). Simply stated, you can be guided by cultural patterns or Christian principles.

Our 2022 vision statement is "Living by The Book." There are at least three reasons why the Bible is of immeasurable value in forming the worldview as followers of Jesus.

1. It is by the Bible that we are _______.

As you read through the New Testament or the entire Bible this year, read it through the lens of your "spiritual SPECS."
