God established three institutions for the benefit of humanity -- the home, the government, and the church. We have examined the first two in previous sermons. Today we will begin discovering how to "Do Church by the Book." A good place to start is always at the beginning. The beginning of the church occurred in Acts chapter two. One of the most beautiful pictures of the church is the Bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:25-27). From the very beginning of the church, we discover four signature qualities of the Bride. They form the acronym WIFE.
Worship: a responding community
Instruction: a learning center
Fellowship: a healing communion
Employment: a deploying agency
