Prayer Ministry

River Cities Church believes the truth of the Scripture found in James 5:16, "The prayer of a righteous man/woman is powerful and effective." A.J. Gordon said, "You can do more than pray AFTER you have prayed, but you can never do more than pray UNTIL you have prayed."

We have many opportunities for you to be involved in corporate prayer at RC3. In addition to the ones listed individually, the following are also important areas of prayer.

Elders Weekly Prayer -- Our Elders, having the spiritual oversight of this congregation, meet weekly to pray for our members.

Email Prayer Chain -- allows us to send prayer requests at a moment's notice to our church family, often praying for urgent needs, but also praying for ongoing needs such as health, salvation, direction, and so on. If River Cities is your church home and you'd like to be part of the email prayer chain, please contact the church office.

Small Groups, Youth Group, Choir, and many of our other ministries make prayer an important part of each meeting.
