Paul records a word of encouragement in our passage today. This was his first recorded sermon. “Gospel” means good news. What makes this particular sermon good news? Three elements in this sermon make it good news. These same elements make every word of encouragement good news.
1. A word of encouragement starts with the work of God, vv. 14-22.
2. A word of encouragement moves to the Son of God, vv. 23-37.
3. A word of encouragement finishes with the grace of God, vv. 38-43.
Make sure your witness is always good news, a word of encouragement.
