The prophet Isaiah was perhaps the greatest writing prophet of Israel. His name means “Jehovah is salvation” and his book reflects this meaning. From the beginning of his book, Isaiah portrayed the problem of Israel and all humankind--sin. In chapter 1:5-6, he likened sin to sickness.
In Acts 3 we have the record of the first post-resurrection miracle of an apostle. We discover in this miracle truths about the healing grace of God.
· The miracle of healing pictures God’s grace, vv. 1-10.
· The message about healing proving God’s grace, vv. 11-16.
· The message of hope proclaims God’s grace, vv. 17-26.
The grace of God is the remedy for the sickness of sin.
