One of the beautiful truths about our relationship with Christ is that we are in Him and He is in us. Ephesians 3:17 reads “so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” The world “dwell” has the idea of "to be at home." Is Christ at home in your heart?
When Jesus walked on earth, there was a place where He was most at home. In this place lived two sisters, Mary and Martha, and one brother, Lazarus. The outstanding qualities of these three combined make Jesus feel most at home. These same qualities are true for all of us.
• In Martha, Jesus found a worker.
• In Mary, Jesus found a worshiper.
• In Lazarus, Jesus found a witness.
Christ indwells each believer by the Holy Spirit, but is He at home in your heart?
