Give This Christmas Away

Give This Christmas Away is a unique outreach opportunity that allows the RC3 family to share the Gospel while serving our community. This year, we have three giving projects that will reach 111 men, women, and children. Every gift will include a brand-new Bible! You can help supply the other items.

Barboursville Veteran’s Home - COLLECTING NOV. 24 - DEC. 1

Barboursville Veteran’s Home provides residential, nursing, and rehabilitative care to West Virginia elderly and chronically ill Veterans and their eligible family members.

Our goal is to make 76 gift bags that include:

• New fuzzy blankets/throws
• Large print puzzle books
• New puzzles (500 or fewer pieces)
• New simple games or card games

Almost Home Ministries - COLLECTING DEC. 2-8

Almost Home Ministries is a 12-15-month faith-based residential recovery program in WV. Their mission is “to restore those who have struggled with strongholds by offering Christ-centered values and applying them to all areas of their lives. In transitioning from their old lives to new, they learn to become productive members of society in a place they can call home.”

Our goal is to make 20 gift bags that include:

• Women’s hat/scarf/gloves sets
• Women’s manicure sets (nail care)
• New bottles of nail polish
• New hair dye kits
• New lotions (body, hand, face, etc.)

Hovah Hall Underwood Children’s Home - COLLECTING Dec. 9-15

Hovah Hall Underwood Children’s Home, located in Ona, WV, is a Children’s Home Society of WV Emergency Shelter for children ages 10-18. This shelter cares for up to 15 children in the WV foster care system who can’t be placed in a foster home.

Our goal is to make 15 gift bags that include:

• New journaling notebooks & pens (not spiral bound, please)
• New or almost new board games and puzzles
• New remote-control cars/vehicles (and batteries)
• New socks (youth large or men’s small or medium)
