Flood Relief

It is always good to do good. Galatians 6:10 is the focus of our DERT Ministry at RC3 (Disaster Emergency Relief Team). The severe flooding in Eastern Kentucky left many people without electricity & water, some with massive mudslides & water in their homes, some without homes completely, and some even lost their lives. We can be the hands & feet of Jesus by putting “boots on the ground” with DERT. 

Dr. Mike & Judy Gibbs and Billy & Shelly Perry will be leading our Disaster Emergency Response Team to Camp Nathanael in Emmalena, Kentucky on September 2 & 3. If you would like to be part of this team, contact the church office at 304.736.8197 for more information.  You can go for the day, or you may stay overnight in a camp cabin. Meals will be provided by the camp staff.
