One of the most enduring symbols of Christmas is the star followed by the wise men. It is a rather mysterious object. Because the star moved, some believe it to be a comet. However, a comet would not have generated the interest this star did because the magi were, in all probability, Persian astronomers. I believe the Savior’s star was likely a uniquely created heavenly body for a specific purpose. We read about it in Matthew chapter two and discover the Savior’s star, then and now.
The Savior’s star — then, Matthew 2:1-12.
The Savior’s star — now, Philippians 2:14-18.
Will you “shine” like a star in the sky this Christmas?
