John 5:30-47

The Law of Moses had a standard for testifying to the truth of a matter. Two or three witnesses were required (Deuteronomy 19:15). Jesus exceeded the number of required witnesses by presenting four witnesses to the truth of His deity.

• The forerunners witness, vv. 30-35.
• The finished work, v. 36.
• The Father’s word, vv. 37-38.
• The faithful writings, vv. 39-47.

Jesus speaks truth; He is truth; He is proven true. Are you following the truth or the deceptions of this world?
