Hardly a week passes that we do not hear of some kind of domestic violence. Spousal abuse, child abuse, parental abuse, and sibling abuse are the products of dysfunctional home environments. Can one rise above a dysfunctional home life? The answer is, “Yes,” and the example is Joseph. In the chapter before us today we can observe the mounting tension in a home which finally erupted into murderous intent.
