It doesn't take a degree in sociology to recognize our society's preoccupation with sex. The church has been accused of acting as if sex doesn't exist, while on the other hand, the world lives as if there is nothing else but sex. Such a world was the place of a small bond of Christians in the ancient city of Corinth. The city's reputation was notorious in that regard. In today's text, God spoke truth to those believers 2,000 years ago about keeping their sanity in a sex-crazed world. The same truth is for us today. To have a sane view of sex, one must have a correct view of their body.
